Feel the freedom

Feel the freedom on this magical, immersive and liberating yoga retreat, whilst sailing in the Adriatic Sea on a fully crewed private sailing yacht. Dive into the thrill of your own being at sea, where you will be uplifted by the force of the wind in your sails, from soaking up the sunshine and smelling the ocean. Yoga, breathwork, meditation and other restorative practices in the open air will allow you to enhance your perception and anchor your self in the bliss of the present moment, whilst also giving you the unique opportunity to connect to incredibly beautiful natural surroundings. With first-class sailing and exceptional food in the mix, this retreat will completely recalibrate you and deeply satisfy all your senses. If you feel the need to uncover your own inner beauty, flow, and lust for life then this is the retreat for you… welcome on board.

Location

Croatia is home to some of the most idyllic coastlines, a magnificent stretch of 1250 miles ruggedly beautiful Adriatic shore; perfect for sailing. Cruising in Croatia can be a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience for you. Islands in Southern Dalmatia – Hvar, Paklinski Islands, Brac, Vis, and others are unarguably one of the country’s most exhilarating sailing destinations. As our yoga program is carefully handpicked to perfectly blend in with the cruise by implementing selected techniques with impeccable timing and intention according to your own unique requirements, we will aim to really live every moment of this adventure to the fullest.

Accommodation

We will be staying on board a brand new fully crewed 5 cabin Sun Odyssey 519 sailing yacht, designed for maximum up to 12 guests including the 4 member crew. Living on a yacht will help you grow out of your comfort zone by sharing limited yet clean and functional space with fellow adventurers coming from different cultures and with different characters. This will create opportunities for you to bond on a deeper level with each other, stripping back the layers of that which clutters the mind. This sailing yacht stands for its elegance, seaworthy qualities, and unequaled comfort. Cabins are with twin share beds.

Highlights

Food

Healthy eating is central to our wellbeing formula. Our onboard, one of its kind chef – Ranko will be preparing daily brunch, smoothies, and afternoon snacks with non-vegetarian, vegetarian, and vegan options, organic and dairy-free where possible with a Mediterranean twist. The right balance of raw and cooked food will leave you feeling nourished and refreshed. For the best local gourmet culinary experience, we will dine out at local restaurants or sometimes in a single house in a secluded cove with many seafood specialties. The fish doesn’t get fresher than this! Throughout the retreat, a range of herbal teas, water, and fresh fruit will be on offer.

EXCURSION TO PAKLINSKI ISLANDS – PALMIZANA

Lying just minutes offshore from the beautiful and popular Hvar Island along Croatia’s spectacularly indented Dalmatian coastline, the Pakleni archipelago (Pakleni Otoci in Croatian) forms 17 sand-fringed low-lying speckles lapped by crystal-clear seas and backed by stunted pine forests. Palmizana is a picturesque and minuscule settlement, which has a small museum of island life, elegant villas, botanical gardens for a dose of exoticism with its aloe vera, eucalyptus, indigenous rosemary, pines and cypresses, and excellent lounge beach restaurants, perfect even offseason. You may wish to hike around the island, chill out or rest in this dalmatian paradise spot.

About the program

Discover greater depths of your physical, emotional and spiritual freedom by being well looked after by a crew of four, who are amazingly adept to facilitate extraordinary transformative and immersive experiences for those who are willing to come along on a journey.

MONDAY

Welcome ceremony at Trogir (Seget base), a UNESCO world heritage site in the early afternoon hours and setting off the same day towards the island of Brac or Solta, once everyone arrives.

TUESDAY TO SATURDAY

Sailing around the islands of Southern Dalmatia without a fully planned sailing itinerary, remaining faithful to the true sailing spirit. Possible destinations include islands like Hvar, Vis, Paklinski Islands, and Drevnik. You will anchor daily on a different island, which will depend on the wind, weather and spontaneity of all the possibilities presented. The trustworthy skipper Max will be instrumental in guiding the group towards many gorgeous blue-water lagoons and uninhabited beautiful bays, away from the civilization, at the same time you will also visit some of the most vibrant historical island stone-paved towns and marinas. You will find yourself practising yoga and meditation on the yacht, beaches, wooden peers and remote unspoiled natural surroundings. The group will be flowing together, literally and symbolically.

SATURDAY

Return to the Trogir base in the morning. Possible visit to the historic town centre (depending on the airport transfer) which is a pedestrianized district that is like an outdoor museum. Finely-carved facades, elegant churches and palaces, renaissance gates

and medieval streets reflect Dalmatian art and architecture at its best.

About Our Crew

Tanya’s vision for NeoYogic Movement as a lifestyle brand is all about designing and organizing high quality transformative and authentic events related to yoga, meditation, and wellness. In this package, her idea was to facilitate an experience of freedom and appreciation for the gift of life by combining the magic of sailing and yoga, and carefully select a team of highly experienced, unique and professional individuals who will advance this happening.

MAX MATKOVIC

Max is our chosen skipper for this retreat in gorgeous Croatia. As a native, he has the perfect knowledge of the best Dalmatian sailing routes, unparalleled experience with sailing in all conditions for which he received countless praise, especially in exceeding a wide range of guest expectations and maximizing their holiday experience in a smooth and totally enjoyable way. He loves yoga too. His trustworthiness can give him a serious look,  yet he is one of the warmest and kindest souls that will without a doubt be the greatest of captains you would ever wish to sail with.

JULIA KASTL

Julia is an amazing and lovely German lady, who is our chosen physio/massage therapist and yoga teacher (200-hours). She had the opportunity to specialize in the field of manual therapy and massage, neurological therapy, craniosacral therapy and many other related fields. She has worked and traveled all around the world and learned how different cultures work with different methods. She finds what everyone wants is their soul to live in a healthy body and that’s her motivation to use her incredible richness of knowledge and practice with others.

RANE DUVNJAK

Rane in one word is – unbounded. NeoYogic Movement is so excited that he has confirmed to join the team as a chef. In his recent career, he works as a chef for the Slovenian biathlon team. He is also a painter, a visual artist and sells his work mainly to private collectors all over the world. His source of energy for living and painting is the fact that we all must die. His presence as his art deal with consciousness in each and every moment and are infused with his own unique inspiration rather than seeing the existence only as black and white.
