Serene village life in South East of Slovenia, unspoiled and not yet discovered by many travellers. Yoga, meditation, hiking, wine tasting and kayaking.
Experience a profound connection with nature, other human beings and the universe around you. Slow down your pace in serene rural surroundings, where time seems to stop. Share this ‘gathering’ with loved ones and friends or find beauty seeking conscious solo travellers, who you will naturally bond with.
Bela Krajina (White Carniola) is known as a hidden gem of Slovenia. Off the beaten path and not bearing the fame of likes of Bled, Slovenia’s most prized tourist destination, Bela Krajina covers the most south-eastern part of Slovenia. You are guaranteed to fall in love with its pristine green colour, its pure and unspoiled river Kolpa canyon and its warmhearted people, its wine making culture and its calming pace.
Kalska Hisa is a refurbished traditional guest farm situated in the middle of a small village called Strekljevec, part of Semic, which is one of the three municipalities of Bela Krajina. The building complex is composed of an old revamped house, a new holiday barn above an aged wine cellar and a gazebo that can be used for many different things. Along the barn, there is a wide porch and a terrace, where you can relax and unwind in the fresh countryside air. You will find it hard not be impressed with its tastefully appointed interior details and its comfortable guest rooms. We chose this venue for its exceptional standard and because it will make you feel at home at the same time.
